The Fires of War
The Fires of War is a campaign that stripped D&D to its core, everything conditional, races, classes, settings, magic, weapons everything but the core mechanics. (even though i’ll probably have tear that apart to make way for the space combat system.) Anyway, the game is set in space, with a war involving the racial tensions of humans and Kor becoming imminent, and humans in a massive arms race to catch up with the technologically (well, overall), better Kor. Therefore, genetic engineering has created Paths, people genetically engineered (in the past, it’s illegal now because of abominations and the Demon Strain.) to be able to do things that would be impossible otherwise.
